New ‘Mortal Kombat’ Movie Images Feature Gnarley Fights & Explicit Fatalities

A closer look at what’s coming when the first official trailer drops

Warner Brothers just released ‘first look images’ for the upcoming “Mortal Kombat”. movie, the live action film inspired by the wildly popular video game.

The cast, or rather fighters, include: Mehcad Brooks as Jackson “Jax” Briggs, Chin Han as Shang Tsung, Hiroyuki Sanada as Scorpion, Joe Taslim as Sub-Zero, Tadanobu Asano as Raiden, Ludi Lin as Liu Kang, Sisi Stringer as Mileena, Josh Lawson as Kano, Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade and Max Huang as Lung Lao Max. Lewis Tan will be in the movie playing an all new character, (character Cole Young) never before seen in the franchise.

The newly available photos, give fans a teaser and glimpse into what will be in store come April: fighting and bloodshed!

“Mortal Kombat” is scheduled for release in theaters and HBO Max streaming platform (available for 31 days from theatrical release) starting on April 16, 2021.
