Logically if you were a Fascist then, yes, that makes sense. But in this case Trump wants all of us to panic and to blame all crime, real and imagined, on “the left” and “anarchists”.
In this new Lincoln Project ad you can see the incredible contrast between his claims that he wants us all to remain calm – and the panic he is clearly trying to incite with his “law and order” themed speeches. He doesn’t want to cause a panic. yea, right. He wants to be the Fear-Monger-In-Chief.
